My two-block woodcut piece, “Bigfoot in the Woods,” was chosen for the Society of Illustrators’ 2012 Student Scholarship Show, which will be up for the public in May. Not the piece I would have expected to be chosen, but it’s exciting nonetheless. Maybe I should have my woodcuts on this site after all?
(Fun fact: the name “Bigfoot” was coined by my hometown’s newspaper in the 1950s).
